kids..

'lao shi.. lao shi.. LAO SHI..' those words still linger in my mind.

today, aunty bee eng couldn't make it to the remedial class so i had to assume her responsibility as a teacher. those kids.. i find no words to describe them. thanks to them, the whole class was a perfect pandemonium, and the din was terrific(it was horrifying, nightmarish nightmare =p).

i could not concentrate on teaching those hyperactive fellas(abundant supply of atp in their body, i guess). they surprised me. instead of asking me questions and how to answer, they asked about me. kids nowadays are cheeky.

in order to avoid any further form of disturbance to the other classes, i had to resort to this:
'finish your homework quickly and we will discuss it fast. and after that, you can ask anything you want.' i told them. upon hearing that, the entire class was in a great hoo-hah again =( i was being bullied by bunch of little kids.

that trick worked well. in the end, i have to pay for the consequence of that silly promise. it was q & a session for those cheeky fellows. they asked a lot of question, which i can only remember a few of them:

q: lao shi, how old are you?
a: make a wild guess. (those kids were shouting numbers ranging from 18 - 25) - am i that old?

q: lao shi, how many girlfriends do you have?
a: hmm, guess again. (some said 2, some said 5 and the rest said 7. *smack forehead*) - am i that great?

q: lao shi, when was your first kiss?
a: ahhh- *speechless* - where did they learn that?

kids nowadays.. i'm speechless. somehow they are cute =)

by the way, lao shi=teacher
