hypocrite's oath?

what is the definite definition for the so-called "good" or "bad" individuals? do we have a ruler to measure how good or bad are they? or do we use a scientifically sophisticated device to evaluate the righteousness and the evilness in one?

everything is in an equilibrium. existence of "good" people is accompanied by the presence of "bad" people. "bad" ones wreck havoc and terrorize around, those "good" ones shine around by fighting their evil counterpart? in short, the "good" in the "good ones" brings out the "bad" in the "bad ones" and the "bad" in the "bad ones" makes the "good" more dominant.

says who that all the monsters, fiends and villains are bad guys? without them, what is ultraman, superman, x-men, iron man, potassium man, sodium man, copper man, zinc man (perhaps uranium man, plutonium woman, blah.. blah.. and it goes on) going to fight with? be thankful for the existence of those villains! if not, we won't have the chance to see our favourite superheroes in action =p

okie, back to the topic. it happens to me that i got to know this group of individuals (fiction, fact?) forget about fiction or fact, that isn't the main point. i have known them for quite a long time. no fun yakking about the good of others (i used to do that, i'm kinda tired), and now, we yak about the bad of others! *evil grin*

they appear to be good. recently, i found out that there is something "dark" about them. behind the mask of secrecy, lies unknown traits of theirs. i AM surprised, they are good with everyone, including the "bad ones". too bad, the "bad ones" didn't know that calamity has befallen upon them - they have been utilized, sacrificed for the sake of expanding the goodness of those "good ones".

for instance, they resorted to slandering methods. they love to sow rumors and dissension too. when other people's belief is shaken by those hearsay, he or she will then put in good words for his or her benefits, individuals of the same "gang" gain the profits (profits?!). maybe what they have been doing is just merely a practice to survive in this society - they stand on others just to conceal their own weaknesses. or perhaps, they have swore on an hypocrite's oath?

should i hold grudges against them? should i hate them for dicriminating others? if i abhor their act, am i practicing discrimination too?
